I guess we'll see if Mexico is a real democracy now. My guess is the leftistas will try for a violent overthrow. Mexico is good at revolutions.

My guess is the leftistas will try for a violent overthrow. My sense from St. Jacques' stuff the past couple of days is that the vast majority of the country is sick of Obrador's antics and want this over with.

Mexico is considered one of those "democracies" that we consider as "friends."
Hah!
Or should I say "Ja!"

The mob hasn't ruled on this one. All their trouble didn't help the communist get his way in over the laws of Mexico.

"the mob hasn't ruled on this one."
But one should not rule out the possibility that the mob is finished on this one, either. Mexicans obviously have a penchant for breaking laws.

Good.
You can't give in the blackmail, because the minute you do, more demands will be made.
It's a never ending cycle.

Just imagine if this liberal took power and joined up with Venezuala's nutcase.

Laws in Mexico are as laughable as immigration laws in the USA....both are encouraged to be broken by both governments.

I read that and I first thought it said 'Methico'.
I was going to say 'got a lisp?'?

Ping....see, I told you so. :) No full recount. Maybe no partial recount either, but they'll decide that next month. Don't bet the ranch.

Now they are going to have to bring in Jimmah Cawtah and at least one Daley from Chicago. I doubt that Jesse and Al will make a showing in Mexico, but one never can be sure.

That's why Mexico has a military. Those protestors better watch out...If they try that...Fox will have the military step in and it'll not be pretty....lots dead and jailed. That's the way of Mexico...No political correctness....

There are two more options that AMLO will take (he won't concede): try to have the results annulled or mob rule, probably in that order.

Your sense of things is correct sinkspur.
And for everyone else, I just put up a translation of an article from a Mexican newspaper giving the actual details of the decision against Lopez Obrador and company at:
