"Uh Oh...."with a bang"? Now I must know!:) "
Long story short version:
1:00am this morning we had a police officer knocking on our front door wanting to talk to our youngest boy (14)! Seems he snuck out to run around with some buddies and play "army". They have plastic pellet guns that look like AR 15's. Anyhow, the officer got a report of "armed" juveniles. So he found them at the elementary school. Son ran home (we live across the street from the school.) Officer pulled two of the boys down at GUN POINT which is understandable. So here we were asleep assuming son was too! Needless to say after the officer chewed him out, I chewed him out, and sent him back to bed! He is totally grounded until further notice! I'm also thanking my lucky stars that those stupid kids obeyed the officer. Had they not one or more could have been shot.

Goodness....what a day you have had! Same kinda thing happened with my boy. A group of them took some pellet guns onto the reservation....then walked home through a neighborhood with them in their hands! Sheesh! They were pretty shook up & the boy that owned the guns had to surrender them to his parents.

Jeez....swmo....your kid was lucky. What a scare for Mom!! You are so right that it could have been a tragedy. Grounded for life sounds good for now.
