Just a quick post to tell you about an exciting new website: Rightroots. Rightroots provides you with a quick and easy way to financially support conservative congressional candidates...
I have proudly endorsed Rightroots and I hope you will too, by visiting them today and making a contribution to one or all of the candidates Rightroots has listed.
If the Democrats gain control of the Congress, todays environment will seem mild compared to what well have to endure in 2007 and 2008 total gridlock for the President and for the country. I see the tactics of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and John Murtha and Hillary Clinton every day allowing them to gain control of the Congress will be devastating for the next 2 years and beyond.
My fellow blogger on Capitol Hill, Congressman Jack Kingston, has challenged conservative bloggers to donate $26,000 to Rightroots candidates by this Friday at midnight. I encourage everyone to help Rightroots meet this goal.
The 2006 elections are about a choice. To me that choice is crystal clear:
Written by Bill Frist, M.D.
Very impressive, I'm amazed with the results so far.
Geez, virtually no progress at all the past three hours.
I don't know where they're located but I assume in the East. Maybe they shut down the totaling at night and over the weekend, do you have any idea?
The candidate totals stop being updated overnight, as I saw from previous days. But the overall total seems to automatically update whenever a contribution is made.
But they're still there, apparently, because Diana's total is now over $6,500!

Beren, Irey, McGavick bumpage. Great job tonight.
Thanks. Appreciate your input on that thread. Good luck with getting Beren on Rightroots. Can you share anything with us as to whether or not they're receptive to the idea?
FR will be the first to know. You, in particular.
Great time on the thread tonight Coop, her appearance is going to bring in some bucks.
Pinging and bumping.....
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys.
Diana is blessed with being in a "swing" district, it appears. How does a challenger mount a "ground game" in what is, at best, a 35% GOP seat? Doorbelling and phone spamming, I'm convinced, don't necessarily work and may not be the best use of resources.
Like the Colts, baby, you gotta get your points through the air!
I really think a very high percentage of folks are just apolitical and treat the ballot like an exam. "Name the Incumbent" and fill in the ScanTron.
Voters Pamphlet statements and pics help a lot, but, really, do the apolitical non-Freepers/Kossacks really read them?
I'm not necessarily despairing, but I'm a committed Groupie, too. Redstaters are so damned lucky when they get to choose between a libertarian (small L) and a conservative in their primaries to decide the seat. Color me jealous.
Good night all
Irey is now up to $6,779, and the site's total is just a few dollars away from $35K.
I love good news in the mornings.
Thanks much for helping me on this stuff!
Candidate totals not updated today, but the site brought in just over a thousand more dollars... not bad for a Saturday.
