Just a quick post to tell you about an exciting new website: Rightroots. Rightroots provides you with a quick and easy way to financially support conservative congressional candidates...
I have proudly endorsed Rightroots and I hope you will too, by visiting them today and making a contribution to one or all of the candidates Rightroots has listed.
If the Democrats gain control of the Congress, todays environment will seem mild compared to what well have to endure in 2007 and 2008 total gridlock for the President and for the country. I see the tactics of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and John Murtha and Hillary Clinton every day allowing them to gain control of the Congress will be devastating for the next 2 years and beyond.
My fellow blogger on Capitol Hill, Congressman Jack Kingston, has challenged conservative bloggers to donate $26,000 to Rightroots candidates by this Friday at midnight. I encourage everyone to help Rightroots meet this goal.
The 2006 elections are about a choice. To me that choice is crystal clear:
Written by Bill Frist, M.D.
Just checked it out, interesting. I hope it signifies good news.
It did catch me by surprise. Given that she was their largest draw, her supporters were providing the largest percentage of Rightroots' total contributions. But I'm not criticizing their decisions; she got some good exposure. I was just surprised to see her MIA. :-)
What are you guys looking at?
Diana's still there. Looking good as ever, too.
I'm looking at the ABC/PAC page, that leads into Rightroots.
Again, what are you looking at?
She still leads the pack at $7,700.
Look at the Home page featured races.
They seem to have two groups of featured candidates. Rightroots and ABCPAC. However, Rightroots contributions are folded into ABCPAC, so I find it somewhat confusing. It may simply be one donation vehicle (PAC), but two selection committees. There is some overlap between the two groups of featured candidates.
Correct. There is overlap between ABC and Rightroots. I understand ABC is handling the mechanics for Rightroots.
Diana has been on the Rightroots slate from the start. I dont think she is on the ABC pac list.
By definition, Rightroots is featuring challengers and open seats. No incumbents.
That's been clear from the start. I'm just not sure what the relationship between the two lists is. Not a big deal.
Hawkins talked about it in his first discussion of Rightroots.
For some reason, they needed the vehicle of an established PAC to go through.
I agree, no biggie.

Sending 'er up!
Novak is calling Irey race a toss-up.
But he is also calling demo wins in some I'm closely following and have good hopes for.
I think the guy has lost it.
A toss-up, but leaning Dem. But IMHO he's the only pundit who realizes how much danger Murtha is in.
Last day of the month bump.

And back.
