Summary of IDF operations against Hizbullah in Lebanon 3 Aug 2006

Over the past day, IDF infantry, armored and engineering forces operated in southern Lebanon. The forces positioned themselves in the areas of Mis el Jabal, Mahibab Blida, Shihin, Rajmil and Majdal Zun, in the eastern part of southern Lebanon. At the same time, IDF forces established positions in the villages of Al Teibeh, Al Adeisa, Rab A-Tiltin, Aita a-Sha’ab and Maroun A-Ras and Bint Jbeil.
Yesterday evening an IDF soldier was killed and four more were wounded in exchanges of fire in the village of Aita A-Sha’ab. An IDF soldier was severely wounded and two soldiers were lightly wounded in the village of Mahbib.
In fighting throughout the day, IDF forces killed approximately 35 armed Hizbullah terrorists, and wounded numerous other Hizbullah terrorists.
In the area of Bint Jbeil, IDF forces identified and destroyed a vehicle carrying a Hizbullah missile launcher. Additional weapons were discovered by the force, including 10 assault rifles in the area around the village of Sheihin.
During the night the IDF carried out more than 120 aerial attacks in Lebanon:
6 missile launchers, including launchers used for long-range attacks against Afula and Haifa.
35 Hizbullah buildings, storage facilities and headquarters
Areas used to launch rocket into Israel, and roads and bridges leading to those areas.
A vehicle identified transporting weapons.
Our own national labs have been working to make ours as clean as possible, too. We can only do computer simulations to see how effective the changes are since Clinton put a prohibition on subterranean testing.

You what is really sad - all those guys that knew anything about underground testing at the Nevada Test Site are either retired or dead. That is what is scary to me. Continued confrontations are still raging between the Islamic resistance and an occupation force trying to infiltrate into the hills of the border town of Markaba. Clashes have been fought at Al-Taybeh confrontation line, from 21:00 hours last night until now.
The Islamic Resistance announced having targeted an "Israeli" tank and a bulldozer, destroying both of them and killing and injuring their crews. Occupation sources admitted to 3 of its occupation soldiers being killed and 2 others wounded.

Sorry if this has already been adressed as i'm just catching up on the thread, but Fox has gotten bad information, if this missile had a ballastic missile track that threatened TelAviv their would have been air raid sirens in TelAviv - but there were not, thus this missile was not aimed at TelAviv. If it was, there is no way Israel would not have sounded the air raid sirens, and If it was and Israeli radar failed to correctly identify the trajectory heading towards TelAviv then they may be in big trouble.
