One of the most vocal Republican opponents of President Bushs immigration policy is planning a trip to Tucson later this month to stump for Congressional candidate Randy Graf.
Rep. Tom Tancredo, a Colorado Republican, will appear with Graf at an event intended to highlight the work of the Minuteman Project, said Grafs campaign manager R.T. Gregg.
Tancredo, a foe of the White House on immigration, has become a national figure for his strong advocacy for securing the U.S.-Mexico border. He has endorsed Graf for Congress.
Graf said he met Tancredo in 2003, when the Congressman visited Cochise County to assess the border.

Mke Hellon is the man to beat
Bush carried the Arizona 8th district with 53% in 2004. This one looks like a toss up.
If you are somewhere other than Southern Arizona, maybe.
The folks you p. on with your selective comments about volunteers happen to live in Southern Arizona.
Dream on.
Ping.
Hellon was defeated 2 years ago as the incumbent National Committeeman at the GOP convention. We kicked the RINO out of his position and replaced him with conservative, Prop. 200 organizer Randy Pullen. I was at that convention, I know of what I speak. Hellon's wife is a State Senator and she's one of the worse RINOs there. Her voting record is atrocious.
Hellon is not polling well in the Republican Primary. He's third with Randy Graf the front runner, uber RINO Steve Huffman (he's worse than Hellon, in fact) running second, and Hellon a distant third. Hellon is not the man to beat.
Despite being outspent 10 to 1 in the last primary, Randy Graf was able to garner 43% of the vote against 21-term, open border, openly homosexual, liberal RINO Rep. Kolbe. Since Kolbe announced his retirement, it opened up this race a bit. Two RINOs jumped right in (Hellon and Huffman). Hellon must have taken the pulse of the district and found a HUGE response for border security and has reinvented himself as a border security supporter. However, in his entire political career before he announced his candidacy he's said basically nothing about the border and has done far less. Graf, on the other hand, was a key organizer of the successful Prop. 200 campaign, served as a State Representative and then the Majority Whip. He was a Minuteman and has been endorsed by the founders of the Minuteman Project as well as Rep. Tom Tancredo. All informed observers know that this race is going to be about border security and Graf is the only candidate with any credentials in that respect. Hellon has had to pretend and Huffman's voting record is bad when it comes to the border so he know's he'll be quickly exposed as a liar if he tries to pretend he's a border security advocate. On that issue, Graf is way ahead and polling reflects this. Huffman will outspend Graf at least 5 to 1 as RINO Kolbe has plugged him into his fundraising apparatus, but money can't overcome all of his shortcomings. Now, he could go the Kolbe route and spend the last three weeks of the campaign blasting the airwaves (radio & TV) with a myraid of outright lies about Graf and I fully expect him to do that. But Graf has assembled a better team and has more cash this time, plus the experience from running 2 years ago against the well financed incumbent, and should be ready to counter the lies and distortion campaign. It may be close, but I see Graf winning this one.
"Well his endorsement doesn't appear to be helping Bryant in Tennessee."
Can you show me a real source that says Tom Tancredo endorsed Ed Bryant?
It is on his PAC website.
Try again.
Think again.
