A transcript can't quite capture Rumsfeld's suppressed fury, incredicble patience, and absolute concisely brilliant and truthful answers. He puts a few others in their place too during this charade of a hearing.
Get this: Rumsfeld was at the hearing at the specific insistence of Hillary and a few other Dems. It was not essential, the Generals could have handled it, but they insisted. Then they launch their attacks. Just a pathetic, planned media ploy that gave Rummy a chance to put all in their place. Too bad most Americans will get the CNN version instead of watching for themselves.
