The Emanuel Brothers' Mel Bonding
The American Spectator ^ | August 3 | Jeffrey Lord

Thank you, Mel Gibson.

Who would ever think that a drunken, anti-Semitic rage from a gazillionaire movie star would go right to the core of the Democratic Party's problems?

Meet the Brothers Emanuel. Brother Ari is a partner in the Hollywood talent agency Endeavor, a leading liberal light in the film community. Brother Rahm is the former Clinton White House aide turned Democratic congressman from Chicago. As luck would have it, Rahm is also the chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Good article about the manufactured outrage over Mel Gibson. He said horrible things, but there are bigger threats to Jews than a drunken movie star. It also reminded me of the strange Democratic response to the WoT: more money for people to collect the bodies & extinguish fires after the next attack (I have nothing but respect for first responders, but money for them won't protect us. They RESPOND)...

The media has been getting their rocks off blasting Mel Gibson.

He did and said some pretty stupid things. Maybe now he will do better, maybe he just needed a wake up call.

Me? I would take my money wherever it is I wanted to go and tell them all to screw themselves.

The reaction on this is laughable. Mel deserved to get his ass roasted for being a lowlife and I hope that his career in movies is over. He's a catholic liberal who people gave brownie points to for his movie and his pro-life views.

But, where is the outrage for the smears against Christians by Hollywood people? You cannot insult the Jews (although being pro-Pali is okay), you cannot talk bad about blacks, women, latinos or gays but when it comes to being Christian and/or pro-life or even patriotic you are fair game.

>Unlike Mr. Gibson, who was armed only with a bottle of tequila, Herr Hitler was the head of a disparate collection of storm troopers, thugs, and, eventually, the German army.<

All financed by the Illuminati.

Good article. In short, Mel Gibson - drunken idiot. Iran - oil drunken, nuking building terrorist nation. Which ones are the Jewish libs working to stop? Yep, Mel.

I wish I could somehow channel the outrage I hear towards the more imporant targets - Arabs fascists who want to KILL Jews instead of just insulting them while drunk.

mel's a "Catholic liberal?"

I agree what he said was horrible (I especially hated the asking of the policeman whether or not he was a Jew... creepy & disgusting behavior). Mel is being roasted EXTRA hot for his Christianity, and for The Passion of the Christ. There is no way I could support what he said, but there comes a time when people go to far. People are enjoying their outrage. He seems to be a troubled man. Hateful yes, but troubled. Where is the liberal compassion?

Ah- I found it. I still don't think he's a liberal. He is indeterminate... Thinks Bush is like Mayans (? Why not Aztecs - I think of them first when thinking of cruel LA societies). He's against Vatican II. I think he's a troubled man. I hope he stops drinking.
