The article states that Dingy Harry Reid offered HIllary the minority leader post to get her not to run for pres in 08. Citing her high negatives at 42% of electorate will definately not vote for her under any circumstances. Reid goes on to say he does want to step down in early 09 to fight the republicans behind the scene istead of on the senate floor. Will she take it? I doubt it !

The article states that Dingy Harry offered Hillary the minorith leader post if in turn she would not run for pres in 08 because of her extremely high negatives(42%). In so circumstances these voters will not vote for her and the dems are scared. Reid would rather critisize the republicans without bing on the senate floor. Will she take it? I doubt it! She's too power hungry.

Oh come on. She has repeatedly said that is she is proud to be running for the privilege of representing the good people of New York and is strictly focused on that right now. Who doesnt believe that? Certainly not Dingy Harry.

"Citing her high negatives..."I read it as "thigh negatives." Too much coffee.

Reid is scared that he will lose his Nevada Senate seat a la Daschle if he remains Senate leader having to emulate Comrade Pelosi.

Eh, not really a double post, since the other link came from TWN (crediting Captain's Quarters). Maybe you could post a link to the Captain's Quarters' article.

Note that he is offering the
Minority Leader position, even out to 2009. The Democrats know, deep in their dark little hearts, that they are not going to win this Fall or in 2008.
I stand by my tag-line.
