I have been saying recently that there is a chance for Williams to actually wake up one day. In the past year or so, he seems to have gotten a little less hysterical about liberal themes and actually sounds reasonable sometimes. The subject of BJ Clinton is a huge exception, however; Juan worships that alleged man.
He is taking a very courageous position, and not surprisingly, this isn't a very popular position either. If as a society it is verboten to even _mention_ certain realities, then it is of course very unlikely that anything remotely positive will result. It's not uncommon for people to have their careers ruined for pointing out the obvious - here in the US - home of the free - That is the express if unstated reason for "political correctness" - stifle rational discussion, codify thought crimes, and propagate authoritarian keepers-of-truth etc. etc, For that he is to be commended.
No, no, no -- I meant I'm the proud OWNER of said Proclamation.
(save it to your hard drive, and you can own a copy, too!)
Professor Williams is a great American!
BUMP FOR LATER.
They'll say he's just writing what his evil masters at Fox Lies told him to say. /sarcasm

Maybe Rove has the mind-control machine trained on Juan.
I thought that George Bush snuck out of the White House every night and that he and Walmart executives got all those African American teenaged girls pregnant?
***
Sshhh! Didn't you get the memo from Rove to be quiet about that?
Not me. And, though this is not a negative against you, I am not an "African American". I am an American...born male...black (dark brown, actually)...conservative...Republican.
Now if he'd just get a clue on national security issues.
Booker T. Washington
"There is another class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs -- partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs."
I will buy the book. Juan Willams is one brave man - he's got my support.
Blacks have to wean themselves off 'victimology'. It's self-defeating and morally corrupt. Jesse and Al have been lining their pockets at blacks' expense for years. They're Judas goats.
Did you know what his favorite sport is? It's
Basketball.....game called: Juan on Juan. Jake
"It has always amazed me that African Americans have quite oddly chosen the party of the KKK. "
They never actually chose it. It was imposed on them and they were forced to become dependent on it for their survival. Times have changed, but many poor blacks still feel the social pressure to cater to the democrats. The republicans are demonized by the liberal media and that doesn't help.
I truly appreciate you stating that you are simply an American. To that I agree.
NAh, not me. I don't buy many of these throwaway conservative books anymore -- there are just too many of them. So I certainly am not going to spend my ducats on Juan Williams. They called him the black Alan Colmes. I thought, for some odd reason, they were going to say the Black Alan Alda.
Juan has looked his fellow blacks in the eye and told them the truth
He's finally waking up. Give him more time and he might give us some more surprises. Were it not for the typical liberal intimidation we'd have more of these guys waking up.
Just as with Islamofascism, discarding years of liberal indoctrination is almost impossible. Let's give at least a little credit to Juan for his bravery on at least this one little item. Once he experiences freedom of thought I think we might see more of his honesty come out of the closet.
Juan, please meet Bill Cosby and Joe Lieberman.
A must read "The Jewish Century" Yuri Slezkine . He tells of history's liberal roots.
