good one
I think the AP is reporting that they are making progress in the negotiations (what is being negotiated is a Security Council resolution), and trying to make it look like Condi blinked.
They were supposed to be ready to talk about it today, but that didn't work out, and they probably won't be ready tomorrow, or they would have announced they were going to debate it.
I still think they are battling between those that want to force Israel back and give all the goodies to Lebanon and Hezbollah, between the US position and those in the middle.
But it might be moot. If Hez won't accept the terms or Israel can't live with them it won't happen anyway.
I guess I was just hoping that Israel depleted the so-called "one more week of fuel" Lebanon claims they've got left.

Well, too bad for him. Lil Kim "wanna have a long dong" IL has the supply all tied up.
Nasal has to rely on the counterfeit V that his Hezzie b*i*o*t*c*h*e*s market.
I don't think Nasarallah plans to quit firing his rockets. With all the anti-Israel rhetoric, I don't think Iran really wants an end unless Israel really hurts their interest.

Thanks for the update. Keep me informed.
It was interesting on John Batchlor's show, the IDF General said that the reason they were hitting so. of Beirut because that is where the Hezbo's had their C3I infrastructure. Said it was a virtual "city within a city," with underground centers. No other Lebanese are ever allowed to enter.
I believe someone posted upthread the before/after pictures when Israel first bombed there. Hope they got them all.
You owe me a new keyboard!
CNN, with Anderson Cooper, and especially John Roberts, is really trying to shoehorn an agreement that ALL fighting must cease, prior to an agreement for conditions for what happens after that...
They are twisting words, parsing words..etc.
It is just so much wishful thinking that the USA would just leave Israel swinging in the wind, all by itself.
Do Not Watch CNN!!!!!!!
I like your way with words.
"Also more strikes in Baalbeck (East Lebanon) have been reported by local residents"
interesting
Sorry...but it is the only LIVE TV right now..
BTW..I am listening to Mark Steyn on Hugh Hewitt..and he is saying that it is ridiculous to have Britain and America trying to broker a UN resolution between Israel and Hezbollah...since both America and Britain are fighting the same enemy!!!
Steyn is a very smart man.
Nah... they get funds from fake viagra, so it fits. LOL
