That was a large gift while he was alive.

Many upon their death leave large gifts as well.

A group like FR or the Minutemen with some good marketing could gather a fortune for their projects looking to be beneficiaries of some people's estates.

I guess you are now the financial police. All you had to do was go to the Minuteman Forums and see what Jim Campbell has to say about his donation.

You are full of crap and repeating untruths. You look like a fool and someone's tool.

Did you think of checking the source to see if he is upset about mismanagement of funds? I thought not.

"Think that enough "cheap shots" have been taken at Chris and our fence by Glenn Spencer? The address at the end will take you to what the president of the Texas Minutemen, Mr. McGauley, has said on ABP. The following is an open letter to Mr. McGauley:

Dear Mr. McGauley:

I donated $102,000 in cash to our Fence Project. Peter Kunz (the Project Manager) and I have worked closely together planning our next "phase". I'm not going to discuss here the proprietary information that I am privy to; but I will say that the information that Glenn Spencer and yourself are conveying to the news media is fraught with inaccuracies and incomplete information. Neither of you want to talk about the FIRST 10,000 feet of 4" x4" x 1/4" steel tubing that was bought with $63,000 of this $102K. (Both of you could have picked this information up on our blog.)

We are waiting to see EXACTLY what length to cut this steel to. There are areas where there is significant Caliche. Do we dig four feet holes into this caliche like we will in dirt? Do we place our emphasis on building a vehicle barrier FIRST to protect our fence from ramming? (Because of the caliche, we can't dig the "ditches" as initially planned.)

I FAIL to understand why Mr. Spencer and yourself are taking such CHEAP shots at Chris Simcox and our project. Can we expect an open apology from you when you see our Project come to fruition? - when the 10' x 10' heavy-gauge, steel "mesh" panels - topped-off by 4' of "razor-edged" material are welded in place? Hopefully, we'll get some acknowledgement that you folks were too quick to make these DAMAGING, UNJUSTIFIED observations and conclusions. We're sustaining these low blows in the interim; but ultimately, Chris Simcox and the Project will be "vindicated", and our CREDIBILITY will no longer be issue for our adversaries and detractors to take "pot shots" at.

Sincerely,

Jim Campbell
