We know the liberals can't stand them and are probably just salivating hoping to get their hands on that information to cause some trouble, you're absolutely right. After all, to them, protecting this country isn't high up on their agenda.

Maybe they are waiting till November so they don't have to expose their campaign donations till after the elections. I suspect that may be the case.
The filings were due in May, but they've apparently requested 2 three-month extensions so as not to file them until November.
Extensions are frowned upon, according to the IRS web page, but not illegal.
