LOL!
The great majority of freepers currently bashing Simcox are Bush Republicans and therefore liberal on border issues to begin with. They would love to see the grassroots border security movement crumble.
Last Extension as well.
Well, right there is his problem; the post hole diggers we have are round.
FOFLOL
Too funny!!!
I suspect that may be the case.
The filings were due in May, but they've apparently requested 2 three-month extensions so as not to file them until November.
Extensions are frowned upon, according to the IRS web page, but not illegal.
IMO 2.5 miles is a lot of area to fence.
Wow Howling, that doesn't sound good.
"The November DEADLINE is their SECOND extension."
Proof,please.
re your post #61;

I guess you are now the financial police. All you had to do was go to the Minuteman Forums and see what Jim Campbell has to say about his donation.
You are full of crap and repeating untruths. You look like a fool and someone's tool.
Did you think of checking the source to see if he is upset about mismanagement of funds? I thought not.

"Think that enough "cheap shots" have been taken at Chris and our fence by Glenn Spencer? The address at the end will take you to what the president of the Texas Minutemen, Mr. McGauley, has said on ABP. The following is an open letter to Mr. McGauley:
Dear Mr. McGauley:
I donated $102,000 in cash to our Fence Project. Peter Kunz (the Project Manager) and I have worked closely together planning our next "phase". I'm not going to discuss here the proprietary information that I am privy to; but I will say that the information that Glenn Spencer and yourself are conveying to the news media is fraught with inaccuracies and incomplete information. Neither of you want to talk about the FIRST 10,000 feet of 4" x4" x 1/4" steel tubing that was bought with $63,000 of this $102K. (Both of you could have picked this information up on our blog.)
We are waiting to see EXACTLY what length to cut this steel to. There are areas where there is significant Caliche. Do we dig four feet holes into this caliche like we will in dirt? Do we place our emphasis on building a vehicle barrier FIRST to protect our fence from ramming? (Because of the caliche, we can't dig the "ditches" as initially planned.)
I FAIL to understand why Mr. Spencer and yourself are taking such CHEAP shots at Chris Simcox and our project. Can we expect an open apology from you when you see our Project come to fruition? - when the 10' x 10' heavy-gauge, steel "mesh" panels - topped-off by 4' of "razor-edged" material are welded in place? Hopefully, we'll get some acknowledgement that you folks were too quick to make these DAMAGING, UNJUSTIFIED observations and conclusions. We're sustaining these low blows in the interim; but ultimately, Chris Simcox and the Project will be "vindicated", and our CREDIBILITY will no longer be issue for our adversaries and detractors to take "pot shots" at.
Sincerely,
Jim Campbell

You asked that others look into your sources, then left at least one them hanging because he or she is not up to your research standard?
Oh, and insulted them in the process...
For my part, I'm happy to have the issue(s) on the table;
illegal aliens (invasion) and potential fraud...
That's all part of the process.
What I don't like to see is the open borders crowd getting a free boost because 'we' are in disarray - help your neighbor if he is a good neighbor and save your hostility for the ones that are not.
Don't you READ the things posted on these threads?
It's not MY fault you don't know the facts.
I have seen one pdf from 2004 for declaration alliance.
Not two or three. Prevaricator.
Please note that November 15 is the deadline only after requesting TWO three-month extensions to the reporting deadline.
In other words, the reports are not actually due 4 months from now, they were due over two months ago.
Please also note that this will be the report for 2005, and it's quite unlikely that any of the 2006 donations or expenditures, including those for the fence, will be included in the report.
Expecting MCDC to file reports on time and without multiple extensions of the filing deadline does not constitute holding them "to a different and improperly applied fiduciary standard than any other non-profit in the country"; it is expecting them to comply with the same standards others do, which is not unreasonable.
Now you can apologize for calling me a liar, or forever be labled a dishonest poster.
I dont need to apologize for the obvious.
It's been a month now with _No_ frog marching.
When you can convince a prosecutor in Southern Arizona, I _may_ beleive about a third of what you post.
You might beleive what you post, I know better. I can research on my own.
Just about every negative thing you have posted about Simcox has been disputed by Simcox and the MMDC to my satisfaction.
CAL may be emotional, but she is correct and has posted some rational rebuttals, which you have to go elsewhere to dig up.
I hope you fully research all the volunteer organizations you belong to ever so fully, and have never donated to large charities like Red Cross, or United Way, or churches cause if you have you are a huge hypocrite.
I notice a dearth of comments about the donor you and your pals keep bringing up as though he is being led astray.
If you actually go to the link and read the rebuttal the person you whine about mortgaging his house spent the money on steel for fencing.
I expect a full apology, possibly a crow pie as the fence i built. Not that I would expect it from you or your pals.
Dream on and keep posting tripe about Simcox.
You are a fraud. Always have been; always will be.
And you can have CAL; she's never been involved in anything that didn't end up with questionable funding and threats of lawsuits.
bumping for posterity.
Back at ya!
Oh you know who the offical spokesman for the Simcox MInutemen and other groups has made another statement/press release throught a Internet forum.
