Per Wikipedia.....
National Arbor Day occurs every year on the last Friday in April. Each state in the United States has its own Arbor Day. Many occur on the National Arbor Day, but some southern states occur earlier in the year, and some northern states celebrate later. Each state observes Arbor Day during a time of year when it is usually appropriate to plant trees.
