Sandy....some of the recipies from the FF's cookbook look good. We'd just need to cut them down quite a bit serving wise!

Thanks so much again for posting the picture. Some time in the future I will learn how to post a picture but not right now. I'm sick with a cold (we all are here) and no new information will get in my clogged head right now!
The firehouse is the newer of two, it's about 13 to 14 yrs. old though! They are getting their first ladder truck tomorrow, my husband can't wait.
My husband loves the thread and feels famous now with mention of his dept. on FR!

Search through all of the store for Christmas Decorations and very unique Christams gifts. Mrs. SR just LOVES the place.

Hi Kathy, thanks for the welcome. I'm a return visitor also from last week!
They use pagers here, the firehouse is in a residential area. I was with our Ladies Aux. briefly (until my mother became ill) and quickly learned to appreciate firefighters all the more.

I am at work tonight and just happened to see the Canteen and remembered the URLS for a couple of "Flying Firefighters"
A P-2 Neptune making a drop on a brush fire.
The venerable Martin Mars in action. The last two of these aircraft have just recently been retired.
And a close up of a PBY making a water drop.
Wish I was at home so I could hit ya with a few more pics :-)
