Fourteen young Iraqis are dead after explosions hit two soccer fields in Baghdad today.

Eleven were killed by hidden, homemade bombs in the western part of the city. Police said the dead ranged in age from 15 to 25. Fourteen others were injured in the blast.

In a separate incident, police reported three people under the age of 15 were killed when a mortar shell hit a soccer field in a residential neighborhood.

Sickening. Terrorists are sub-human and they have the audacity to call the Jews such?

It's Bush's fault.

This sort of story show precisely why the only ceasefire that makes sense is the one that occurs naturally after the last terrorist meets the Great Satan.

Think the media will blow this up on the front page? Not a chance...

There will be no condemnation of the terrorists and the U.S. will be blamed for preventing, or even causing it.

"It's Bush's fault."

? What's he doing about it? Where's the explanation to the public who these killers are, what are the forces involved?

We occupy the country, Bush is our leader, no explanation from Bush, just as well Bush's fault.

This is so poorly written I can't really tell what the heck happened. There were two soccer field incidents. The second incident was caused by a mortar and killed 2 people. I can't figure out what the first incident was all about but if I do the math it appears 1 person was killed. At the same time homemade bombs killed 11 people "in the western part of the city". Then there were 11 "bullet-ridled" bodies that appeared to be tortured. Is AP buying stories from locals and running them through translation software or something?

If that was meant as sarcasm you missed it. Why does every one think that Bush can see everything. It really PISSES me off.

I think Mike Savage is right. We won't be taming these assholes any time soon. Can't fight a war against extremism any more because we don't have the will to fight to win overwhelmingly. I also liked Savage's comment about the Kurds. Yeah they are our buddies (because we are on their side I guess) but they are no altar boys. Are the Kurds descendants of the Mongols? I could see why they are persona non grata to Arab Muslims.

And the world condemns the terrorists... Well, maybe not.

When will the Media hold the sick terrorists to blame?

Never. It's our fault because we're threre. The Media enables terrorism and murder. Period.

So when is the world going to cry out against this barbary? AFter all, they are always supposedly trying to "protect the children". Had this been an accidental explosion because of US military action, the libs would be screaming their heads off about the murderious US military and GW.

So where is the outright outrage at this terrorist act? How exactly were the soccer players and fans (primarly young folks between 14-24 years old) part of this "fight"?

The double standard goes on.
