Charles Rangel, the dean of New York's congressional delegation, said yesterday he'd resign his seat if Democrats don't take control of the House in November.

So Charlie is going to the voters and telling them he might resign right after re-election. I know that Rangel has held this seat since Bella Abzug, but do the Republicans even bother running a candidate against this guy?
These guys have been out of the loop for so long, they can't stand it anymore. I bet that a lot of them take the long walk along with Charlie after my tag-line is realized this Fall. The Republicans are going to pick up two (2) seats in the Senate and four (4) seats in the House in the Fall elections. This is going to push folks like Rangel right over the edge.
