When reviewing the overall situation in terms of the principal funders of global jihad-linked terrorism, there are two main sources for each of Islam's two branches.
Shi'ite related terrorist groups such as Hizballah & Hamas are supplied by Iran's OPEC oil profits, from training, funds and weapons.
The Sunni Wahhabists ruling OPEC's number one exporter of crude oil, Saudi Arabia, provide the vast majority of money for radical, anti-Western mosques and madras's throughout the globe.
It's like Berlin and Tokyo, we had to take the war directly to the enemy's capitals in order to defeat the Axis enemy. Today's Axis of Evil will have to be dealt with in the same manner.
I have seen some fascinating things.
But if Iran and Syria are engaged, that might be more history than I want to witness. LOL
They are doing exactly what they have been brainwashed to do by their religious leaders...
Let me guess: the moment of revenge will be the last week in October, in hopes of prying Republicans loose from Congress so the Dems can crucify Pres. Bush.

The direct threat is not the problem. Syria bankrolls terror, much like Saddam Hussein did. Take them out, and you cut off their money.
Aw jeeze, name me one time when some allahu-fubar country hasn't been bearing the "drums of war" against somebody for the past 1400 years!!! A butterfly in Brazil passes gas funny and some allahu-fubar country, immam, group, or Jihadi-wannabe beats the drums of war and howls like a constipated hyena that it is some how the fault of Israel and the USA!

There are several branches of Islam. Some are more militant and some are more liberal. However, when you get down to the core of their main purpose for existence, it is to eliminate the infidel. This is a racist effort just as Hitler endeavored to cause genocide on the Jewish people. The Muslim religion is being used to further a racist purpose. A bank robber is one who steals from a bank and will kill innocent people if necessary. He will use hostages to further his plan. The Muslim wants to steal land, kill innocent people and and uses religion to further his racist world view. I think this describes a killer machine.
