How marvelous, Allegra (I am a little jealous :). The doctors are right about the dangers of removing tonsils after childhood. I had a friend who nearly died. Keep the darn things. They eventually atrophy.

Guy I worked with had to have his tonsils removed last year. They started bleeding, and wouldn't stop. Pretty nasty.
Don't worry though, you will be singing in top form soon enough. It took him about six weeks to be fully recovered (to where his voice didn't sound like he had been smoking cigars to much).
Back to the thread. Any news out of Syria? The scuttlebutt was that they had an attack planed for last night (their time).
