The president stopped by the Press Room today after Tony Snow's briefing. He is still there laughing and joking off-tape with the reporters.

That was hilarious.
damn near spit my teeth across the room!! ROFLMPO
GW seemed to be in very good spirit today. Seemed to be having fun. Thought it funny that Tony's predecessor was absent.
I wondered how the Left and the MSM were going to manage to bash BUSH about this...when they came out that first week...all backing the Israelis..and Congress even voting to give their "official" support.
SO...now, they are going to blame the NEO-CONS (which in their world aren't Jewish, I guess).
God bless you... indeed. Glad someone else noticed.
Did you send him the Sunday thread...that report was being picked apart almost immediately on FR.

Rabbi Lior: Add Dirges Over Gush Katif to Tisha B'Av Liturgy
19:15 Aug 02, '06 / 8 Av 5766
(IsraelNN.com) Rabbi Dov Lior, Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Arba and chairman of the Judea, Samaria and Gaza Rabbinical Council, has called upon the public to add special dirges written about the expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif and northern Samaria last August to Tisha B'Av liturgy this year.
Rabbi Lior said, "These dirges compare the periods of the destruction of the Temple and of the destruction of those towns; and they give expression to the disaster of the expulsion and the retreat, for which we are paying in the blood of our soldiers and our civilians."
Tisha B'Av, which begins this evening and lasts through Thursday night, is a day of fasting and mourning over the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, as well as over the various destructions and persecutions that have come about as a result of the exile of the Jews from the Land of Israel.

(this is a slap in the face at the Israeli government's closing of settlements policy....)
There is a reason that there were 600 Jews leaving France for Israel last week. Israel is still safer than Europe these days.
Between the islamics that those who blame Israel for all their troubles, it isn't a very nice place to be Jewish.
Oh you're right. They are sort of in a box about that, aren't they? Now that WILL be interesting.
"We were told about this massacre -- I don't know what time it was. We couldn't move at night, even in ambulances, because of the shelling. They should allow us to move so we can work."
The head of the civil defense doesn't know what time he was told about the "massacre".
"They were still asleep, hiding. They were all near the walls, huddled in fear. We found many of them like this," he said, drawing his knees and elbows into his chest in a fetal-like position. "The poor things thought the walls would protect them. I had the honor of removing about 15 of them."
Asleep and Hiding... hmmm. Fetal positions... funny I didn't see one body brought out in that position... maybe it's me, I have to check.
Shouldn't there be extensive injuries on a single side of their bodies and heads? Funny, he doesn't mention women or men. Nevermind
His break was interrupted by a colleague calling for stretchers as the bodies of two more young boys were removed, their tiny pajama shorts and T-shirts covered in soil and dust.
Raqa didn't wait for the stretchers to arrive. He scooped up one child; a bystander carried the other.
Of course he didn't... after the break.
Just remember the child's foot and knee.
I didn't, I sent the one from today to see if he would mention it. That's when he said we were so late on it. Guess I'll send him another one to let him know when we were on it. Thanks for the reminder.
Unless in a hospital, it's difficult to imagine a scheduling conflict. Scott may still be smarting.
