I was listening to Laura Ingraham in the car around 10:30 or so. She was interviewing a Lebanese Christian woman who has since left Lebanon.
The woman said that Islamofascists have been killing Lebanese Christians for 31 years, that everyone knows how Hezbollah uses the media and stages bodies, etc.
She said that she has a lot of Christian Lebanese friends who have contacted her in the last few weeks who said that Muslims are being permitted to leave targeted areas, but Christians are being forced to stay or Hezbollah has said they will assassinate them.
She said that the Lebanese Parliament has been targeted as well and they know if they don't stand with the jihadists, Hezbollah killers will murder them.
This woman told Laura the Christians area scared to speak out against Hezbollah because they been warned not to give interviews but this woman feels she can speak out because she's an orphan with no one left in Lebanon they can blackmail her with. She sold all her property in Lebanon a few years ago as a result of Hezbollah.

David Gergen is a mouthpiece for the 'We're gonna fail' crowd. He hates George Bush. He thinks any proactive moves to defend America is only doomed to failure.
I never understood how he was pictured as the 'republican' on PMS er...PBS's Gergen and Shields years back. He was moderate left to Shields extreme left viewpoints. And he was still villified for being too 'right wing'. Now that was fair and balanced in the MSM's point of view.
The point is, nobody I've talked to about this has known anything about Hezbollah and the attacks they've carried out against us. NOBODY! The War on Terror is 5 years old and we still don't know who the enemy is in this country because we've got a political party and a media that refuse to tell the whole story and are willing to lie and obfuscate facts in an effort to hurt GWB. America's war effort be damned!

Well, her call verifies one rumor we had here a while back..that the Hezzies were keeping some of the Lebanese in the south to leave..
I guess they are setting them up for the next "victims" of Israeli aggression.
Lebanon is such an enigma....it has Christians, a supposed robust "night life"...but, until a few years ago..Syria was occupying it...Hezbollah controls it now...
I fear that Lebanon NEEDS someone strong to stand up and tell Hezbollah to go away..that the are going to follow resolution 1559...and then get Lebanon back on a democratic, free track..
I also know that is Bush's goal...but, if Lebanon continues with the leaders they have now..that isn't going to happen.
Most of these people lack the capacity leave the past and move into new dynamics of motives. It's not a matter of thinking inside or outside of the box, it's a matter of reasssembling the box. It's like a prosecutor who attempts to try every case based upon the same triumvirate of motives; money, jealousy or revenge.
They are trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.
