Yes, they need to get heavy equipment in quickly if they want to hold the ground long. If this is really a big move, look for an armored division coming up the anti-Lebanon mountains.
Boy does this show how important air power is? The Hezzies in S. Lebanon are cut off from HQ and have to decide whether to fight it out in S. Lebanon or risk a run north to defend their base. Meanwhile the Israelis have cut most of the roads from Syria, cutting off retreat, resupply or Syrian intervention.
