If iran gets involved, they won't do it to hurt Israel, they want a whack at us,

Why would Iran, or any sane country, particularly one with zero nuclear capability, pick a fight with a country that could destroy it a million times over in twenty minutes? Oh, wait, I said "sane country" and "Iran" in the same sentence. I'm not saying we'd go nuclear on them, but we could certainly do some serious damage from the air.

You should have quickly asked a mod to remove the clam thread before we saved the evidence.
Now it's going to be part of FReepLore.

Baalbek

Baalbek (ancient Heliopolis), town, eastern Lebanon, between the Lîþânî and Asi rivers. The name, which means "City of Baal," is derived from the early association of the town with the worship of Baal, a local sun deity whom the ancient Greeks identified with their sun god, Helios; the Greeks and Romans called the town Heliopolis, "City of the Sun." Once a splendid city, it is famous now for the imposing ruins of ancient temples.

Baalbeck is a very interesting place with a lot of ancient history.

The link below has an interesting panorama of ancient Roman ruins.

"The LE certainly has teeth"

Yes, one of the FEW military units the French have that's worth anything. The problem is, will Black Jacques Chirac let them do their thing?

Olmert so far has amazed me. Who would have thought? This is not just some "wag the dog" pc crap.

There's no way I would assume you would want a cease fire. I was referencing the demands of others for a "ceasefire." I too, have posted that I want everyone of the Hezbollah bastards dead. They have been responsible for murdering a lot of our citizens and military personnel. Kill them all.

What a great idea re Llamas being used by Spec Ops.

We had friends who raised them for decades until the friends planted a vineyard. Fences didn't work re keeping the llamas away from the great tasting grape leaves and grapes.

They carry a lot of weight and are very sure footed and can live off dry vegetation or green vegetation. This couple raised and trained them for back packers, hunters and fishers who wanted go way back into primitive areas and not haul stuff and not have to put up with stubborn donkeys or prima donna horses.
