I'm not really that attached to Lieberman, but when he's gone, Israel is going to be considerably worse off.
Really? Actually if he is replaced by a Republican they might be far better off. And isn't that what the "palos" are always whining about? Put America first as if it were impossible to be pro-Israel and an American at the same time.

As for Pat being my hero, he's way more your hero than mine, becaue you need him and I don't. I don't give a shine about him, whereas he stirs you up.
Pat's a strawman. He's something to get worked up about,allows the superhero wannabes to play Atticus Finch for the thin crowd (and no liberal can go for a whole day without playing Atticus Finch at least once)--I wish you'd let him head to oblivion by resisting the need to feed the attention monster.
