WOW that was great. Deep truths are always true when you turn them around like that. Nicely done.

That's the trick isn't it ? .... They will have to find an international court that is not irrelevant.

There was a time when Lebanon was ruled by Christians and Muslims in such a fashion that Beriut was likened to the Rivera of the East. It was a prime vacation spot until Arafat and his ilk ruined the economy, and the whole society as well.
It's too bad that this war has been ongoing for the last 1400 odd years. There are no easy answers!

Hezballah: poke-poke-poke
Israel: Cut it out!
Hezballah: poke-poke-poke
Israel: I'm serious, cut it out!
Hezballah: poke-poke-poke
[Israel hits Hezballah] Hezballah to UN: Mom! He hit me!
UN: Stop whining. I have other things to deal with.
Iran: (whispering) don't worry, uncle is here.
Hezballah: Poke-poke-poke
[Israel slaps Hezballah again] Hezballah: You wanna piece of me? Come and get it.
USA: Stop that fighting back there! Hezballah, try to stop poking, OK? You're bothering your mum. And you, Israel, keep your hands to yourself.
Israel: Yes, dad.
Hezballah: poke-poke-poke
[Israel slaps Hezballah again] Hezballah: Mom! He hit me again!
UN [distracted]: mm hmm
Iran: heres a quarter, keep it up.
Hezballah: poke-poke-poke
[Israel beats Hezballah to a bloody pulp] Hezballah, touching his nose and then staring at the blood: Oh Sh*t! What did you do that for?

Very well, the Israel can sue Lebanon for all the cost of the military action, since Lebanon attacked Israel, right?

Me either. I think a 3-point simultaneous MOAB strike -- One for Beirut; one for Damascus; one for Tehran.

Minister Rizk expressed his regret that the Qana massacre did not horrify the conscience and did not bring about a UN decision for a ceasefire.Maybe that's because the "Qana massacre" was staged by Hezbollywood and didn't happen at all!
Do I detect an admission by this Hezzie apologist that the fraud didn't work as well as planned?
To: Alouette
They knowingly harbor terrorists with a history of murder and mayhem. These same resident terrorists cross the border into a neighboring country, commit atrocities, kidnap Israeli soldiers, lob thousands of missiles into that neighboring country, all without any effort by the Lebanese government to prevent such activities, and they're suing the victims? They sound like the bad parent who when their child gets in trouble, blames everyone else but themselves and their child for the problem.
Sorry Lebanon, you can play ignorant and pretend you have no part in all that has gone on, but when you refuse to do anything about a known terrorist group and allow them to run amok without any control from your military, you are complicit in that terrorist behavior, and if anything, can and should be held accountable for it. You picked the terrorists, now live with your decision...morons!

Do these people have the intestinal fortitude for democracy? Seems like they work under the "hang on and maybe the crocodile will save you for last" system of governance. Mostly what you have is the media reporting what one faction of the Lebanese, and Iran/Syria's proxy feel about it. Every so often, you'll hear form one of the large numbers of Christians or Druze (a hybrid offshoot of Islam and Christianity) think. Israel understands there are different factions, and apparently is limiting their attacks accordingly.
Keep in mind also, that Syria left a puppet high up in Lebanon's government as a condition of withdrawal.

How about a counter-suit?
1. Harboring terrorists to prevent their capture.
2. Providing logistics support to terrorists in support of their committing war crimes by targeting civilians.
3. Providing materiel support to terrorists.
4. Failure to protect its borders.
5. Interfering in legitimate operations by others (Israel) endeavoring to enforce provisions of UN Resolution 1559 on their behalf.
