Rudy Giuliani crisscrosses the country raising money for Republicans, but he also makes speaking appearances for hefty fees. As long as he's a "prosective Republican nominee for the White House," he can command $50,000 or more per appearance. The minute he is no longer a viable candidate -- or formally announces that he's not running -- he becomes just another big-city mayor who hasn't been in public office in five years . . . and he'd be lucky to get $2,500 for a speaking appearance.
You heard it here first, folks . . . He ain't running, and his "campaign" to date has been nothing more than a source of cash for him. And watch how many of his former associates (and potential clients in his "security consulting business") end up working on the campaign staff of whichever Republican DOES end up winning the nomination in 2008.
Even if Rudy is sworn in you'll still be sticking to your "He's not running" mantra.
As you've admitted your primarily a single issue voter...abortion and thats fine ...so naturally Rudy being all alone at the top of the polls freaks you but your constant drumbeat that he's not running despite all the evidence that he is ...is just whistling by the graveyard.
