You didn't provide any specific information about the "commercials" as you call them, such as the name of an organization. It appears you just want to slam fund-raising for the Israeli cause.
Would you care to be honest about your position on this and your reason for your post about what you describe as "an onslaught of commercials?"

The Syrian tripwire is "12 miles from Damascus" - Bekaa valley and entry points in to Syria is up north a bit.
Someone suggested it could be a substantial tunnel system with Syria.

You got that right! We have a very small thing happen in our neighborhood (a truck that didn't belong here) and all the neighbors were talking and we couldn't believe how many of the guys had AK-47!! Two of the women have guns and know how to use them.
