Well, I don't know...I know I would have worried about falling down all those steps first (there's a lot of them) and worried about the camaras afterwards! ;)
I think that was his initial reaction then annoyance and finally the smile which IMHO was when he realised that this was being photographed.
I hate heights so if I did that I would probably freeze and someone would have to come and rescue me.
