Well I am a member of the "Passion crowd" and a fan of Mel Gibson. Add to that I also have some experience with what he is facing.
I wish him nothing but God's grace in his recovery.

I am fan of his too. I bet he is feeling pretty low about now. It is bad enough when someone has to face rehab and shame in the face of your family and friends.
But to face it all, along with your arrest, terrible behavior, despicable statements, and all the humilation - has to be worse than anything I can imagine.
I have prayed for the guy. I really like him. If he had just been arrested for DUI - that would be one thing. His statements against the Jews was just over the top for me - and I still cannot believe it.

Loved "The Passion", but I thought the book was better.
Always thought Mel was hot, but I gotta rethink that, I guess.
Hope he does does well in rehab.
