For fans, Joel C. Rosenberg will be on Paula Zahn on CNN in about half an hour, presumably to talk about the prophetic implications of the Israeli/Hezbollah conflict. I'm not sure of the exact time of his segment.
I'm interested.
Never heard of Rosenberg. I don't trust CNN to give serious consideration to anything Scripture says.
Add me to your pre-trib ping list.
It is not a question of IF, but WHEN.
I am not convinced that now is when, but I am sure that there is where. :)
He wrote a recent bestseller called "The Ezekiel Option."
Was that about that nerdy black kid with the fat policeman dad?>
What? Erkel? Oh, never mind....
Put me on the Ping list too, please.
please add me to your ping list.
Man, I must be out of it. Never heard of this bestseller. Then again, I hadn't heard of Mel Gibson's little problem until this morning.
Is it true that, at the Second Coming - according to Rapture believers - unconverted Jews will be cast into Hell by Jesus? IF that's what Christian Zionists believe, why do Jews consider them allies?
If you do count me in.
Please, Tim, almost all Biblically literate pre-trib scholars would deny anything like this is spelled out in ancient Biblical prophesy. Relevant prophesy about Israel in apocalyptic literature (eg. Daniel, Thessalonians, and Revelation) relates to the final seven years of the Jewish Age (we are in the Church Age). AFTER the rapture has occurred and AFTER the believers of the Church Age have been removed. and AFTER the 7 year Peace Accord is signed with a Protector of Israel, the Pseudo-Christ or Anti-Christ a HUGE amount of prophesy is fulfilled in a very short time. Of course, you could see precursors t like strategic alliances, miraculous urban renewal projects like the Mosque of Omar in Jerusalem taking a direct missile hit (let's hope) as setting the stage.
Settle down there, friend. Before you call me Biblically illiterate, (I'm not an expert but I wouldn't say illiterate) plenty of scholars I know of seem to think that the destruction of Damascus (which is a real possibility if Syria's involvement increases) and the war of Ezekiel 38-39 (which is also a possibility given the Russian-Iranian-Moslem alliance) could very likely happen before the Rapture. It would seem to make sense that it would happen this way, as so much happens in the 7 years anyway.
Also, the Temple probably stood in a spot beside the Dome of the Rock. I doubt the mosque will go down any time soon.
Please add me to the pre-trib ping list.
Are you thinking that Gog (Russia) might enter the fray?
Do you agree that the Mosque has got to be gone? I can't foresee a Temple and a mosque sitting side by side on the MOUNT.
Forgive the caps on Mount. My cap lock key gets stuck now and then and it appears as though I am shouting when I am not.
You mean Rosenberg?
I think the Damascus prophecy is closer to happening, but Russia is a close ally of Iran. You identified Gog with Russia. I thought they were the same because I seem to remember someone saying that, but now people seem to be saying that Rosh is Russia. Any ideas?
I have heard Hal Lindsey and Grant Jeffrey say they believe the mosque and the Temple will stand side by side.
