What is Mel...some sort of double agent?IMO, he's a nut, and an alcoholic one at that. I still say he said nothing to the cops that I don't hear on the Today Show about Jews and Israel, aside from the F-bombs.

I suspect what he is is a human being, who sometimes says stupid things, and who may even think stupid things. I think it's enlightening to know that he's been battling alcoholism. He may be a jerk, I don't have a clue since I've never met him. I like alot of his movies, and he seems like a good family man.
I can actually disagree with someone profoundly without demonizing them. I wonder why so many people can't do that?
