Imagine a TV commercial showing the burning of a bowl of oil, and then gasoline and then natural gas (not a bowl obviously since its not liquid) NG has no smoke because it burns clean. This is why I can heat my home by turning on the oven without it killing me and stay that way for days on end.

If 100 million cars have NG conversion kits installed at $1000 each
Why would it cost $1000? My Baja Bug is dual fuel, gasoline/propane, and the conversion cost me a little under $300 including the tank.

Diesel engines already run on NG. Matter of fact, they will run on anything that is combustible.
