U.N. PWNED
Is that Fox news?
Jennifer and Trace just mentioned Katusyhas again
yes
Selective memories are on the increase.
I think he nails it..
I really don't think so.
He is right about the media missing the big picture but that big picture is all about Iran and the impact of this war on Iran's future plans. That is THE issue here.
If the Israelis resoundingly defeat Hezbollah then Iran will have lost a key and perhaps crucial strategic advantage: the ability to hold off an Israeli attack on their nuclear facilities by threatening Tel Aviv with missiles launched from Southern Lebanon. That will be gone, gone, gone and without it they have nothing to deter the Israelis and, worse for them, the Americans. We can bomb them with semi-impunity (not counting public opinion in the U.S. or the "Arab Street" of course).
Consider the alternative with Hezbollah in place, fully armed on the day when we either attack Iran or concede them their nuclear weapons. That day will come. What if Iran threatens Tel Aviv with chemical or biological WMDs? Would that restrain the U.S. or Israel. It just might. That is the reason Iran needs Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon and the reason we must let Israel eradicate them once and for all. It just might convince Iran that they need to back down and put their nuclear plans back on the shelf for awhile. If not, then it will free up Israel to go in and take them out with a little help from their friends.
Fox news?
Thanks for that report!
I can just hear Ol'Henry giving Wolfie a short but erudite lecture on what's happening in the world!
LOL
Syrian group claims it attacked Israel

I'm not getting confirmation anywhere.
us = human
them = not, and not even animal
Jennifer saying that she thinks the outgoing is to support an expansion of the IDF into Lebanon.
But where's Jerry Rivers in all this?
Expansion of ground troops into Lebanon right now. The high volume of shelling tonite is to provide cover for them (at least per FoxNews)
They just confirmed a 'battle' going on right now
(and you can hear it!)
nothing on any of the news trackers...
Not that kind of blackout...the kind where the reporters CANNOT FIND OUT what's going on! (And that's a good thing.)
Williams' remarks caused me to realize there haven't been loud condemnations from other Arab capitals of the Qana incident. They've mostly been mum. Brian picked up on that...and it could be very significant.
Yes, they despise Israel, though I suspect they've noticed that Israel hasn't attacked any of them lately. Perhaps they really have come to realize the biggest threat they face is from the nutjobs like the Hezbians, Iran and Al Queda. If so, that would surely upset the applecart in the ME.
I always try to remember what President Bush told us on September 20th, 2001: [paraphrasing] "This will be a long war...there will be victories you will not hear about." I'm just saying it's most likely there's a lot more going on behind the scenes than we know about.
