Problem is the GOP keep getting elected cause the dems are insane so they sit back and figure we must be doing something right and keep up with the wishy washy policies
Enough to drive me insane

That would explain why the GOP wants to buy votes with an increase in the minimum wage. I don't know. Among actual conservative folk, that might well lose a few votes, or at least make them feel not so bad about sitting the election out.

Fighting this War On Terror with politically correctness is what's hurting Bush and the republicans. We should be fighting to WIN the war. There's only one thing worse than accepting the democrat's cut-and-run. And that's stay with hands tied behind backs.
Which will Americans choose?

I imagine there's something to it.....and I don't like it
There is indeed something to it.........................
limbaugh, coulter and covuto all are paid based on their "market share"
Stirring up the "pot" gets them more attention and therefore increases their "value"
not to worry

they are losing me on Illegal immigration and the major sell out of this nation...maybe if they'd do their jobs, they might keep their job???

Coming down the stretch NOW the GOP worries about it. They've been warned, they've been begged, they've been pleaded with.
If they lose, they have nobody to blame but themselves. Listen to the people that put you in office or lose the elections.
Pretty simple concept if you ask me.

The Colorado GOP had firm control of both Houses until the 2004 election. During their last couple of years, the party leadership failed to address several pressing budgetary issues for the state and devolved into a gripe and fuss club over petty minutia. Sound familiar?
I think many voters got tired of their lack of leadership and put the Dems in power in 2004.
I will be surprised if we lose the Senate, but not shocked if the House goes down. People want leadership, not wimpy windbags who have no vision or principles.

They keep getting elected because people keep voting for the lesser of two evils. Bad is better than worse. The problem is, if one keeps voting for bad, they eventually end up with worse.

Didn't buy my vote, I found it to be disgusting. I did too. If only the GOP would have had the guts to tell people the awful truth about the minimum-wage. They'd GAIN more minority and low-income voters.

What makes you think we are fighting a pc war on terror? Bush claiming that the Geneva Conventions Apply to Guantanamo Detainees for starters.
Tora Bora
Carrots to Iran
the list goes on

"ROTFLMAO!!! Yep, unless and until the GOP starts doing the right thing there. Then the only issue will be "X!!!" Or "Y!!!!" Whatever the GOP ain't doin' right, damnit!! :-D"
So far there is no danger in the GOP "doing the right thing" on gov't growth, so there will be little opportunity to prove you wrong.
When the voter can't tell the difference between a republican or a democrat, then the GOP should be concerned. However, they don't seem to understand why they appear to be in trouble with regard to retaining House seats.
To: Leatherneck_MT
If they lose, they have nobody to blame but themselves. Baloney. Don't sell yourself short. You'll share in the blame.

The fact that this admin hasn't told anything in what is going on the war on terror. And why would they have to. The leaks from the CIA to the terrorists via NYT continue and nothing's done about it.
