The Colorado GOP had firm control of both Houses until the 2004 election. During their last couple of years, the party leadership failed to address several pressing budgetary issues for the state and devolved into a gripe and fuss club over petty minutia. Sound familiar?

I think many voters got tired of their lack of leadership and put the Dems in power in 2004.

I will be surprised if we lose the Senate, but not shocked if the House goes down. People want leadership, not wimpy windbags who have no vision or principles.
