Have you ever done rescue and recovery work in a war zone ?
I have. Note that both of the hezbolahs look at the interviewer off camera instead of focusing on the grim task at hand. In recovery work, done seriously, that's not slated for the six o'clock news or PR releases, there just isn't have time to pose with a trophey.

I also note that the hezbolah with the glasses and beard shows up in several of the photographs holding different victims in different locations. Oddly, he moves around the "recovery" site a lot and shows up in a lot of photographs.

I'll add the obligatory yes, its sad and sick that innocent children were used.

I would have thought that sorrow at the death of children regardless of who they belonged to, is a given amongst civilized peoples. What I find abnoxious is your selective portrayal of the victims. IMO you have crossed the line between sympathy for the victims and making Hez'b'allah propaganda.

Regardless of the headline to your post, the collection of images follow the path of the MSM and are designed to damage Israel's right to defend itself.

All of the victims were from two large extended families, the Shaloub and Hashem families. All the women and children were hiding in a shelter in the basement. The written story describes how the bodies of mothers holding onto the bodies of their children were removed from the basement. You can see in the footage that apparently three stories of concrete building fell on them, and the rescuers pulled out the bodies that were found in air pockets. That's why the bodies are still being recovered, and the final body count isn't yet known - there are still corpses buried in the rubble not easily accessible.

The families didn't have the cars or the gasoline to leave, and they didn't have enough money to get taxis out of Cana. There have also been frequent aerial bombardments of convoys leaving the area, so it's difficult for the residents to know if the smarter thing is to stay or go.

The BBC reporter quotes residents of the town as saying that Hezbollah fired rocket launchers from fields outside the town itself. Be as skeptical as you are inclined. BBC is the main news source of our chief ally in the GWOT, so this is the coverage that the British are seeing. Take a look at the video. Dismiss it as propaganda or take it at face value. But at least by watching it, you're seeing an on-site piece of news footage, which we haven't seen in the US yet.

Considering Israel's decision to stop air strikes, it seems that even they are considering that they made have made a tragic horrible mistake. So even we can consider that possibility as well, instead of just dismissing it out of hand.

The Beeb also has footage from the same reporter as he is travelling with Lebanese who are fleeing the area in a convoy headed to Tyre. The convoy gets shelled by Israeli war planes. Scary stuff.

I don't think anyone on this thread is cheering the loss of the Christians and the children dying in Lebanon or the loss of lives in Israel.

In this film you will see a 3 year old girl saying that what she wants to do with her life is "kill Jews". This is a completely shocking video. It is 77 minutes long, but you will not be bored...it is riviting.
