How is this model different than most aspects of life?
yep
bring back the Draft .
draft girls too
And where are the parents?
Home.
This really brings back memories of me being trashed on the PATH in college at 5:00a.m., for my 8:00am econ class. Good Times.
Probably telling each other what good parents they are and how their kids would never cause any trouble.
Last judge said that because the military didn't have a place to put a lot of women (due to closed MOSs), drafting women wouldn't fullfill the objective of a draft. Now there's a place to put them.
Betty Fridan Lied, Private Benjamin Died.
Shtupping the occasional bouncer helps too...
I still say if 18 year olds can fight and die for this country they should be allowed to drink.
If you remember, you weren't doing it right.
LOL

Then start the legal process a-rolling, I'm pretty sure that there's a lot of people that agree with your statement, myself included.
It relates to the kid getting killed earlier in the week.
Bingo. They are: divorced, or unmarried, or addicted to drugs, alcohol, or work. Their children are an afterthought; someone else's job. It's enough to make a grown person cry.
The Moore case comes only five months after the StGuillen case. That case was front page news for a full week. And one would expect its lessons to be fresh in mind. But apparently not with Miss Moore who wandered the mean streets drunk and was abducted, raped and murdered by a slime ball who should have been dealt with long ago. What can anyone say about such a situation? Someone less kind than myself might say, "Darwin at work."
That's sort of a pat saying. But when you get down to it, do we enforce the same dicipline and supervision when they have a drink in their hand as we do when it's a gun?
I'm not begrudging them anything, just pointing out the difference. Sometimes life is not fair for a reason.
