Just like clockwork you can always count on the Israeli propaganda machine to surface whenever any possibility of negative publicity occurs. It matters not that Israel is bombing into the stone age Lebanon and killing dozens of innocent civilians. After all, they have 40 years of history doing it successfully to Palestinians and are experts at mounting a media barrage with apologists defending the poor little country which alone stands against those evil Arabs.
Nonsense. They are the bullies of the Middle East who routinely refuse to honor United Nations resolutions while using even the slightest provocation as another means to justify acquiring more land, displacing Palestinians and stealing water resources.
And what happens in this country? Nothing. Politicians are falling over themselves rationalizing Israeli war-mongering tactics. And anyone who dares criticize Israel is branded anti-Semite. Those leading the ad hominem criticism are led by AIPAC, Christian eschatological nuts (yes, I wrote nuts) and those in the U.S. Jewish community who have no hesitation of putting the interests of Israel before those of the United States.
Meanwhile we, the U.S. citizens, continue to pay a high price with our children's lives, our dollars and our global reputation for blindly supporting of what has been characterized as "that crappy little country."

Editor's note: The characterization noted above was made by a French diplomat at a London cocktail party several years ago.
"Well, the neighborhood bully, he's just one man, His enemies say he's on their land. They got him outnumbered about a million to one, He got no place to escape to, no place to run. He's the neighborhood bully.
The neighborhood bully just lives to survive, He's criticized and condemned for being alive. He's not supposed to fight back, he's supposed to have thick skin, He's supposed to lay down and die when his door is kicked in. He's the neighborhood bully."
(Go Israel, Go! Slap 'Em Down Hezbullies.)
The is the biggest piece of excrement I've ever read.
Well put.
After the revolutionary war, 1/3 of the US population was either imprisoned , executed or deported. Its really time for another round. Too many traitors, appeasers and sympathizers!!
Half of every resolution condemns Israel for simply existing. (My favorites includes the condemnations for naming Jerusalem their capital). Israel is also the only UN member (ever) to not be allowed to participate in the Regional Group processes, which is how about half of all UN business in conducted... and no actual legal process was followed for this exclusion (called "Due Process" here). Nice that U.N. Carter Article I Section 2.1 insists that all nations are treated equally.
while using even the slightest provocation as another means to justify acquiring more land, displacing Palestinians and stealing water resources.
They have relinquished land repeatedly and peacefully, yet the Islamofascists simply use it to attack them from closer range. What a moron.
100 million (1/3 of our population) is quite a large number.. and the experience on that scale with Pakistan/India was not fun.
I believe the population after the Revolution was 20- 30 million. That would have been quite the headache then too. We just need to purge about 30 million muslims first
I mean 30 million total starting with muzzies and NY Times staffers
Only anti-Semites use this sentence.
A few executions occurred during the War, particularly in the Southern colonies where the war was most clearly a Civil War. This is highlighted by the executions that follwed the Patriot victory at King's Mountain.
Thank you.
"Some of these actually returned and a significant minority of the Federalist Party had been war time Tories. and they weren't really traitors as they supported the legitimate government against the rebels."
A better example, perhaps, would be the Benes Decree.
