The reason that the Arab/Muslim world uses the terminology, "excessive force on innocent civilians," is because according to the Koran they are supposed to be tough and win the battles. Yet a small bunch of bible studying Yeshiva boys and "weak looking" Jews in Israel completely decimated all those tough Arab countries in 1948, 1967 and 1973.
Israel...go for it, go all the way....eliminate the savages.

However, any argument like this is completely dimisnished when one uses religion as a means to underpin the points.
Citing 'God wants this' or 'God made that' makes the author look foolish. God is just a weapon man made-up to control the ignorant and uneducated. The struggle in Israel is about tyrrany vs freedom. It is no more complicated than that. I acknowldge that many people are all hepped on on religion in that region but, please. We're all adults out here.

Without God, all morality is man made, and can be adjusted to fit his desires. There can be no absolutes. If moral values like freedom are not given to us by a higher authority, they can be disposed of on a whim. Who are you to say your morality of "freedom" is superior to those who value "tyranny", they both have been granted their authority from the same source.
If you do not believe in God, then you cannot believe in constitutional rights as an American, since the Declaration clearly states that our rights come from Gods authority.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
This is THE founding principle or our nation. If you reject the existence of God, then you must reject all the authority that he has, and all that remains is whatever man wishes morality and our rights to be.

The author looks silly because he's saying "God made this happen" or "God allowed this incident", when they are clearly actions of human free will. Humans made these things happen. God knows us (humans) and knows our future actions, but I don't believe He "makes" us do anything.

That isn't true. They looted them cuz they thought they could get money for parts. The PA authority didn't want them looted and the leadership was upset the people looted them.
