Switch to reviewing headlines and stay away from analytical blogs until you decompress.
If you want to do something more active I suggest the following:
Pray for Israel, especially Olmert and the decisions he has to make. I particularly recommend rereading Psalm 83 Psalm 91 and Psalm 23.
Write letters to the white house, your congress critters and letters to the editor expressing your outrage about how the Hezzies use children to hide behind, and the fact that the press doesn't condemn them for it.
Stretch, walk, have a drink.
Recite the Serenity prayer:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
(especially contemplate that last line)
Eat some chocolate, if you are so inclined.
We care passionately, but every time we let the MSM push us into that land of fear and frustration and despair, we have given them tools to interfere with doing the things that can be done, and they love to cloud our judgment.
Pray for President Bush and for Condi and all who will guide our policy.
And as they say in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - DON"T PANIC!
