Israeli combat soldiers walk along the Israeli northern border with Lebanon. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is pursuing a new round of Middle East diplomacy as the Lebanon conflict moved into its 19th day, with Israel and Hezbollah exchanging firepower and threats in defiance of international moves toward a ceasefire
The Israelis answer to that should be "obviously the TVs are still working because Hizballahs Al Manere is still broadcasting. If they're not broadcasting to the Shiia who are they broadcasting to?"
Fox reporting that she was returning to DC Monday
LOL ;-)
Good advice!
I pretty much ignore the 'experts' on Fox (don't even watch the other networks!). But I listen carefully to the reports on the scene(s).
These threads have more information than I ever thought existed! ;-)
Frequent breaks to walk the dog, do dishes and attend to the laundry actually help, who knew???? Housekeeping as a sanity strategy! lol
Hope the fires are settling down out there... We're living in an airborn swamp here in NC. ;-)

Picking a side by default?
They're sort of like the Vichy French government at this point.
switching over to cnn - for as long as I can stand it. which won't be long hearing Ms. Lara Logan spouting off about how they "Report Both Sides"
Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer;
hearken to my cry of supplication.
In the day of my trouble I call on thee,
for thou dost answer me.
There is none like thee among the gods, O Lord,
nor are there any works like thine.
All the nations thou hast made
shall come and bow down before thee, O Lord,
and shall glorify thy name.
For thou art great and doest wondrous things,
thou alone art God.
Teach me thy way, O LORD,
that I may walk in thy truth;
unite my heart to fear thy name.
I give thanks to thee, O Lord my God,
with my whole heart,
and I will glorify thy name for ever.
For great is thy steadfast love toward me;
thou hast delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.
O God, insolent men have risen up against me;
a band of ruthless men seek my life,
and they do not set thee before them.
But thou, O Lord, art a God merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.
Turn to me and take pity on me;
give thy strength to thy servant,
and save the son of thy handmaid.
Show me a sign of thy favor,
that those who hate me may see
and be put to shame
because thou, LORD, hast helped me and comforted me.
Psalm 86: 6-17
Fox reporting that Israel has video showing Kana as a Hez launching site.
Or maybe the military's keeping their powder dry until the IDF has emasculated Hezbollah enough so that the Lebanese armed forces stand a chance against them. One can hope anyway.
Lebanon opened their arms to the Hesbos and now they are paying the price for giving aid, comfort and a staging ground to terrorists. Israel has never won a public relations war and they shouldn't try to start. Israel needs to both neutralize the Hesbos and teach Lebanon a lesson about the price they will pay for aligning themselves with terrorists.
It'd be nice if they could act as an anvil and the IDF as the hammer. Not gonna happen unfortunately.
Problem...for the Lebanese people that is....is that supposedly over 80% of the population support Hezbollah's activities.
Then they deserve to share their fate.
man , nothing like the talent of showing the obvious in a muddled situation....you are right....there is no government in Lebanon.......thank you....we must start from here in all considerations...bravo
Col. Hunt on FOX now said Israel fighting half ass due
to fighting in a limited way and Hezbollah having yrs. to dig in, in civilian areas.
His comment not a rip at Israel but the PC way the good guys have to fight

Well, you never know. Maybe the Lebanese armed forces have a George Washington in there somewhere.
I love Col. Hunt...he always swears at most 15 seconds into his interview! A couple of days ago he called the Hezzies "murdering bastards" in the first sentence out of his mouth.
