Israeli combat soldiers walk along the Israeli northern border with Lebanon. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is pursuing a new round of Middle East diplomacy as the Lebanon conflict moved into its 19th day, with Israel and Hezbollah exchanging firepower and threats in defiance of international moves toward a ceasefire
Agreed. Sadly most folks today have no idea what total war looks like.
Well, Lizard licks is a drink. ;o)
hah! Trace said willy nilly
I have a feeling Charo would drive anybody to drink.
Yeah, Knowles was a lot more entertaining than this weather guy that they've got now. Kiran, while perhaps not as polished, professional or credentialed as some of her co-hosts, is a breath of fresh air. There is a kindness that emits from her.......she really seems to have a soft spot for children. Aside from her liberal views on other matters, Kiran appears to be a very patriotic, pro-USA girl. I hope she's still with Fox.

You should hear Charo play the guitar. She is a very, very good.
I haven't heard Charo play in years, but she was very very good...
David Lee Miller is reporting that Olmert told Condi that he'll need between 10 days and 2 weeks more to finish up.
The media being their biggest weapon, right?!!!
The blonde co-host (Gretchen Carlson) is ticking me off this am. Didn't they get her from CBS? Oh well, that explains it then.
You can be sure that he's busily preparing his condemnation of Israel.
"Geesh...they still show that video of Al Quada training camps...been 3 years now."
Al Queda raised the subscription price to "Al Queda Achievements Weekly Video Report" and Fox opted instead to spend money on car chase downloads.
My dad liked her and she made him laugh - a great honor because not much did (post WWII effects)
It'a a nice respite to think about something as predictable and reliable as knitting. Your blanket sounds lovely as I picture it in my mind. If you just kept increasing, you could make a huge shawl to keep you warm as we're still puzzling through this Mid-east/Islamic mess through the winter. lol
I'm no military strategist, but I can ususally think pretty logically. My head is spinning with all of this. :-( Listening to Brit and the Fox News Sunday discussion, trying to catch up on this thread... (I skipped ahead when I noticed your ping.)
Got out my lucet a few minutes ago to make miles of string, I can work on that without looking, but then I have some hems to finish stitching for a friend. I am determined to catch up here, and make some sense of the big picture of the war!
Okay folks, this minute of homey sanity is brought to you by the Vast Right Wing Knitting Conspiracy at Free Republic! ;-D

I shudder to think how Goebbels would have used the 24/7 media.
