Let's hope that he now is given the grace to deal not only with his alcoholism but with his sinful hatred of the Jews as well. May the lights go on in his life.

Speaking of alcohol, I think I'll have another vodka and pomegranate. Love that vodka and I love Jewish people especially Israelis..... not all drinkers are anti semmetic... but appearantley all actors/ directors in Hollywood not Jewish are...

I love how easily offended American Jews -and there allies -are. Here we have Jews in Israel acting like Men, putting there lives on the line while in the USA they cry like little metrosexuals because Mel said a few words.
We're all supposed to walk on egg shells and never say anything that *might* offend their delicate little ears.
Of course, the rest of us can be insulted without impunity.
Poor little babies. I hope they can all sleep tonight, knowing that Mel in a drunken state, might have said some unkind words.

In everything give thanks. It's good that he was stopped by embarrassment and a DUI and not death of himself or another driver.

Mel took full responsibility for his relapse and made amends immediately. He has more guts than many do in blaming only himself and no one else. Good luc, Mel, and ODAAT.

The Jewish folks who criticized Gibson's making The Passion of the Christ and saw it as anti-semitic were obviously right.
Instead of ripping him for what he is and what he said I read comments here praising him for apologizing for his "indiscretion" or his "problem drinking."
The man hates Jews. If you choose to overlook that and continue to support him, you obviously have problems with Jews too.
Some pitcher on the Phillies recently beat his wife but issued an apology. He's a great guy too. Right?

As part of his rehabilitation and community service, they ought to make Mel a temporary US ambassador for Israel to the UN!~}

I knew that Eric Cartman would be a bad influence on Mel. Mel should have never been in that South Park show, "The Passion of The Jew". Oh, my bad that really wasn't Mel, just a cartoon character.
