Sounds to me like a Hollywood Vendetta against Gibson for the hundreds of millions of dollars he made from Passion of the Christ.

In the end, these false witnesses will get what they deserve. It has been well over 18 hours since this story broke. Neither Gibson nor his spokespeople have denied the LA Sheriffs' department version from TMZ. And, with their publicity apparatus, they could easily do so.
