Humanitarian aid to Lebanon is aiding terrorists

In a Fox News free "World" video "Stepping In: Hezbollah providing relief to evacuees" Fox News reporter Jonathan Hunt from Beirut, Lebanon says that the refugees arriving in Beirut "don't just support Hezbollah, but they feel they are a part of the organization." Am I wrong in concluding that the Lebanese civilians are terrorists? The U.S. is sending aid to the Lebanese military. It is under the control of the Lebanese Prime Minister Senior Fraud who we've previously heard on Fox passionately mouthing the rhetoric of anti-Israeli terrorists, calling Israel a criminal war machine, murdering women and children, attacking civilian targets and not Hezbollah targets. Am I wrong in concluding that aid to the Lebanese military is a serious mistake? The leadership and people of Lebanon were not just complacent on Hezbollah's incursion and activity in their territory, they both passively and actively support it.

I wondered about that as well. I was also concerned about ALL the "Americans" that were evacuated from Lebanon. How many of them were terrorists that we gave a "free ride" to our shores? Why sneak through Mexico when the U.S military will deliver you?

Well that was a foregone conclusion.

I overheard Michael Reagan's interview with Debbie Schlussel tonignt. She was saying something about, I think I heard right, 15,000 Hezbollah supporting Lebanese in America. She writes about it half way down her blog there. !!!See this!!!

This has become the West's dance:

Get attacked
Start to defend
Ceasefire
Rebuild enemy stronger than before

Rinse and repeat

The leadership and people of Lebanon were not just complacent on Hezbollah's incursion and activity in their territory, they both passively and actively support it.

We keep projecting our own values onto a fanatical culture that worships death. Because women and children have died in Lebanon, we reason, they are innocent victims. They push women and children in front of them as shields -- or worse yet, the women choose to stay and sacrifice both themselves and their children -- and when they fall, we berate ourselves.

They provoke conflict that destroys their homes, and we humbly offer to rebuild what they have caused to be destroyed. Our leaders proclaim how sorry they feel for the self-victimized, without bothering to place the blame where it belongs.

We are told that freedom is the solution, without considering that freedom means something entirely different to religious fanatics whose murderous faith will never truly free them.

Guilty, multi-cultural groveling at the feet of ruthless fanaticism is not a strategy for success.

Roger that. They value death over freedom.

Face it. The people of Lebanon have been occupied for the past six years by Hizbollah under UN supervision. They quickly learned that they had to fight Hizbollah or be killed so they have been subjugated . Hizbollah is patient and will not begin persecuting the Christians as they do in Kosovo until Israel is gone.

The UN is a major problem in the world. For the little good they do it is way way outweighed by the very serious damage this situation proves. Until we get rid of this very real Cancer we will never develop serious and meaningfull solutions to world problems.

I am afraid you are right... it signals weakness to the enemy; this reactionary policy has been in place during Carter and Clinton's bungled reign, at least.

Its a bit like feeling sorry for the German people who were Nazi's and helped Hitler send the Jews to the ovens because they got hit when we bombed their cities.
