Do you doubt, that if an Hezbollah terrorist wheeled out a truck with a katusha (sp) rocket on it...in LA, and fired it off..then wheeled it back into the garage...

and there were a group watching, that they wouldn't turn them in??

Most Americans have figured out one thing...you cross these groups..and YOU or your family could die, plus, the inherent "we don't care attitude" that you saw displayed in Florida when the Florida 7 was found.

Neal Gabler just quoted Shepard Smith as saying "even Shepard understands that there can be no military solution." Well, if Shep says it, there you are.

Smith did indeed say that a diplomatic solution was the only answer. Wonder if Smith thinks that would've worked with Hitler.

LOL...you SHOULD be glad that you didn't witness Neil Gabler on Fox Newswatch...he just had another lefty meltdown...screaming that the NYTimes, WaPO, Fox News..and all other media outlets owe an apology to the families of the dead and injured troops in the Iraq War....

His reasoning being that the MEDIA didn't fight hard enough to keep Bush from invading Iraq....LOL

"Normally", I would agree with you. But keeping the straits of Hormuz in the back of my mind and wondering just how much the disruption of world wide oil flow actually plays into the minds of some leaders, I question if that would happen.

I'm almost surprised that we haven't urged the Israelis to try and secure them now. Maybe we really don't know exactly where they are. Possibly a more likely scenario is that U.S. and Israeli troops would move to secure the WMD's where ever they are. and best guesses seem to indicate they are buried in syria and Lebanon.

Mrs S won't watch the news...she says that there's nothing she can do about it, so why bother to get upset....I asked her why she didn't feel that way on 9/11. There may be greater subtleties now, but the world is no less dangerous now than it was then. In fact, I would so it is much more dangerous now that these roguie regimes are being confronted.

I BETCHA Shep WOULD have said the same thing in the run up to WW2...I am sure the scenario was pretty similar.

Thanks for the "Whacko Gabler" report -- I didn't see this -- I've just about stopped watching all TV news, even Fox programs, because I'm just sick of all the babbling morons like Gabler who rant and are never adequately challenged.

Maybe Gabler should apologize to America for being such whiny snivelling wanker, but I won't hold my breath.

At least he could apologize on behalf of the entire LSM for the utter failure to actually learn about the threat of Islamo-fascism enough to help the public understand what the Bush administration is doing and why. Maybe Gabler could apologize for being such a left-wing ostrich in the face of some of the greatest threats this country and humanity have ever known.

Great question sleuth, hard to answer. You gotta guess that GW is trying to keep as many countries as possible contributing forces no matter the level to the WOT. I guess that is what is guiding his thoughts. I really don't know.
