Hey ! Community gun ownership plan ! I like it!
>>Annapolis (AP) - The state's highest court has ruled that Marylanders can lend a gun to a friend without going through the seven-day waiting period and background check required by state law before guns can be transferred or sold to a new owner.<<
So can you lend a gun for the 7 day waiting period?
It's nice to know Marylanders still have authority over SOME of their personal property. You can't fix your car like you want it there. You can't fill in a bog on your real estate. etc.
finally a common sense ruling... why do i feel this is rare?
Maybe because some or hunters?
or hunters? Oh you mean Ore hunters. Nope I don't think there are any precious minerals up there.
This just in!!!
Hertz now rents a full line of hand guns!
You mean hearse?
Not a bad idea!
That will put a rather large dent in the gun control agenda. They will have to go for a total ban now!
Or sponsor leislation to require a "check" on lending and borrowing firearms.
If I lived in Connecticut, I would ask the gun shop to lend me guns instead of purchasing them, for a fee!
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Every law created to control legal gun ownership is unconstitutional. "We the People" allow it to happen.
Congress hires federal judges and can fire them - it's called impeachment. Ruling against the constitution is considered bad behavior. Falling asleep on the job as Ruth Bader Ginsberg does is considered bad behavior. Congress doesn't have the courage to fire them.
It is our fault "We the people" do not hold congress accountable.
finally a common sense ruling... why do i feel this is rare?
Cause the decision is coming from a highly liberal state?
Good news indeed .
"You can't fix your car like you want it there."
What's the deal about auto repairs there ? It has to be bad i'm sure ...
Cause it's only a matter of time before it's challenged by the enemies of the 2nd ammendment?
hah-ha-ha-hah-hah-ha!
bet some hoplophobes are drowning their disappointments in deep inhalations of patchouli-scented catnip tonight.
I do say, Keshawn, my good man, do you have any Grey Poupon? And may I borrow yo' nine to cap a dude's azz?
I was referring to the State emissions-inspection program.
Just passing the sniffer isn't good enough. You have to maintain all that OEM trash to get your tags.
Precisely why my next project is a cut down 1947 Diamond T pickup with a 1966 Buick 425, but I digress......
The old emissions scam . We had it in Florida for several years, but only in certain counties , so the scam was evident . It's wasn't about emissions control at all . It was really bad because if you failed you couldn't renew your registration . The Republicans did away with that evil program and I wouldn't wish it on anyone .
