A FedEx plane left the runway at Memphis Intl Airport shortly after landing. Three people on boeard reported safe.

Actually, the only union goons are the guys flying the airplanes. Enough said on that topic. No point in speculating on this accident, but the MD-10 isn't the easiest airplane in the fleet to land. It is an old DC-10 with a new cockpit. Kind of like taking a Chrysler K car and putting a new Mercedes interior in it and calling it a Mercedes.
I'm just glad it sounds like the crew is ok. And of course the packages too. ; )
