Conservative national security allies of President Bush are in revolt against Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, saying that she is incompetent and has reversed the administrations national security and foreign policy agenda.
The conservatives, who include Newt Gingrich, Richard Perle and leading current and former members of the Pentagon and National Security Council, have urged the president to transfer Miss Rice out of the State Department and to an advisory role. They said Miss Rice, stemming from her lack of understanding of the Middle East, has misled the president on Iran and the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Both threads, on on top of the other, are presently appearing on the recent posts lists. there is NO WAY that anyone can miss either thread; n00b.
Your first reply states that you checked and you're sorry if you dupped the thread ( paraphrasing here ) and that you DID do a search. Now, you are playing the victim and being nasty about it to boot.
If anyone is "out of line" here, it is YOU!

She's just doing what Daddy Albright taught her to do.

VR wants the MODS to take care of it, but she won't ask the Mods to delete or lock down this thread.
This is either a person on an ego trip, or a troll.

Condi Rice, and everyone else in the State Department and the Executive Branch are members of the Council on Foreign Relations. Red flags went up to me with Rice, as they did with Harriet Meyers right off the bat, and I've learned over a long life that my spirit's reaction is usually right on.

Oh dear, after reading many of the posts, I find that the name calling troops are well represented here. I can hardly wait to see what else they have to say.
To: nopardons
What I'm seeing here is two or three folks who just insist on making a federal case out of this and engaging in personal attacks on me. Specifically, which of my posts have been nasty? And for your part, what does calling someone a liar constitute?
BTW, I'm a "him," not a "her."
To: Miss Marple
It would be highly unusual if the Secretary of State refused to confer with the Chairman and other members of the Foreign Relations Committee. Thanks for that useful insight............ < / sar >
Miss Rice also consults regularly with her supporters on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee
Maybe, I was reading more into the article then was there, but in context it seemed like they implied there was a special relationship with Chairman Richard Lugar and Sen. Chuck Hagel.
If Condi is living in a national security bubble with these two guys and not getting input elswhere, I am concerned

Dump Condi: Foreign policy conservatives charge State Dept. has hijacked Bush agenda
Insight Magazine ^ | July 26th | Daniel

Didn't notice this yesterday but find it rather interesting since most of us recognized 'red meat conservative' as a leftie plant who was also trying to push his own blog. The article written in the Insight magazine is by 'Daniel'. According to his profile on his blog, Daniel just happens to be the name of 'red meat conservative'.
Looks like he needs a few more lessons on how to infiltrate a Republican Forum and cover his tracks.

You think she is a "ball of fluff" based on what? All you guys can do is insult Condi Rice with 5th grade taunts.

There are rules here. If you follow them, nobody jumps on you.
When you break them, people tell you about it.
You posted a dupe thread. Why told you had, you became nasty, argumentative, and played the victim. The correct thing for you to have done, was to have asked that your thread be deleted or locked down. You didn't.
I didn't call you a "liar".
Now, do the right thing.
To: Virginia Ridgerunner
Thy are making a large assumption what if this is what the president wants. North Korea and Iran are doing a proper job of isolating themselves and Israel needs more time to degrade Hezballah.
You can't stop Israel until Hezballah is crushed.
To: Virginia Ridgerunner
I don't think that Bush can stand being around either guy.

"Condi is loyal to the president. She is just incompetent on most foreign policy issues." Good thing both the author and those he quotes are not Freepers. Bot stings are a pesty irritant.
Sadly, unrebuttable proof is useless as a repellent against Bots.
